Micro-Instants and Potential Time

The more I work on it, the more this theory of time I'm making up keeps developing. Sure, I'm making it up as I go along, but its still a valid philosophical argument.
What the hell is a micro-instant anyway? And why am I talking about potential time when discussing the future?
