Zombies are so freakin' cool

I got back from my religion exam this morning and promptly decided to watch Shawn of the Dead. It has to be one of the greatest zombie films of all time. It's a comedy - but it's also a serious zombie film. It's kind of heartbreaking, but it's happy too. It's interesting, and there are a few original ideas that you wouldn't see in the regular zombie-type movie.
Furthermore, it nods to almost every zombie movie I've ever seen -- "Ash is off today" "Shawn of the dead" "Reports that the virus originated from monkies infected with rage" .... The list goes on, let me tell you. It was done in a clever manner. It was hard to catch some of them.
It was a good time, after that religion exam.
